Within this series I have interviewed like many of the travelers, Becky left a career in finance. Check out what you can expect her to write about second, and the way she began her life her mini guide, of traveling on a budget!
How did your passion for traveling get started?
My father was my mum air stewardess and a pilot back at 70’s and the 60’s so that I grew up with her showing old photos from her travels round the globe to me. At 18 I went on my very first backpacking trip through Europe and North Africa, followed by 6 months in South East Asia following University and more recently 6 months in South America. The trips ignited the passion, although I think a love for traveling has been in me for as long as I remember. I am always thinking about and planning my next destination when on a plane to a different country!
Just Exactly how many days/weeks are you Travel in any given year?
Whilst I worked full time in finance, I was lucky to have up to 7 weeks off a year, plus bank holidays and that I allocated that time to travelling. I crammed in a visit to Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras and Costa Rica in just under three months ! I am working full time on We Are Traveling Girls, a business I wholeheartedly with Vanessa Rivers and residing and also have freedom.
What are the sorts of places do you like to visit?
What is it that you want audiences to achieve / learn in your articles?
Where I can find out about culture and their history, I enjoy visiting states and I find myself attracted to areas with beautiful architecture. One of my favourite places I have seen is India, where I was in awe of those palaces and buildings that were so built in comparison with our modern architecture. I also adored Cambodia, Egypt and Morocco with the exact identical reason.
Name your top three destinations you’ve traveled?
For our daily articles, we want readers of WeAreTravelGirls.com to come out motivated by the tales written by the women in our area. The areas they have travelled and the images they share make them want to organize a visit to the destination or bookmark it for future travel planning and should ignite something from the reader. We launched our Ladies We Love Interview Series as a place for us present women in traveling and company. The series is intended to inspire our readers to give them hints and tips on the best way to accomplish that and to pursue their own dreams.

For the Galapagos I’d advise people to not dismiss going based on cost, this trip can be achieved on a budget! Organise your land based trip rather than a few. Here are some recommendations for when you’re there.

And also a budget friendly alternative is The Oak at Notting Hill, 2 minutes from where I was able to live also gets the best pizza that I have discovered in London!

Not a Film, but I Adored the series Long Way Round Using Ewan Mcgregor and Charlie Boorman.
They are so enjoyable as they travel by motorbike from the united kingdom throughout Europe, Russia, Siberia over to Alaska and ending in New York and you find some regions. Also a and an epic travel journey must watch!

Plus he is excellent at finding astonishing known cafes and restaurants so we plan alot about where we will eat!
What is your ultimate dream destination?
Your favorite traveling quote?
Who wishes to kill time whilst travelling?! In the event you will need to kill the time then grab your shoes and go out and explore with no particular destination in mind!
If you consult with my previous profession in fund, Switzerland has been the most exotic (!) Because I worked for a Swiss bank! But departing banking and shifting my profession to the traveling industry led me to proceed to Bali, so that I guess you might say that’s the place I has been taken by my profession!
Traveling be daring, trust in people and get off the beaten path. However, if you’re looking for a career in travel afterward the principal advice would be to work hard — the fact is you may spend additional time on your pc than on the beach, network as far as you possibly can because you never know where opportunities could come out, be kind and be professional — that is a small business, individuals speak and also your reputation is everything!
